People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan Promotes Election Program in Jizzakh

Tashkent, September 27, 2024 – The Europe Today: A meeting was held in Jizzakh to promote the Election Program of the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan (PDPU) and introduce the party’s candidates for upcoming deputy elections. The event gathered key figures, including deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, M. Urozaliyeva and U. Urozbayev, along with N. Kholmatov, Chairman of the Jizzakh Regional Council of the Party.

During the meeting, speakers highlighted the PDPU’s achievements over the past five years and presented the Election Program, which is rooted in principles of social justice and equality. The candidates nominated by the party were also introduced to the audience.

“In events like today’s, we aim to increase the political and legal awareness of voters through quizzes on electoral legislation, rewarding participants with memorable gifts from the party,” said Urol Urozbayev, a deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and member of the PDPU faction. Flyers and booklets detailing the party’s new program and priority areas were also distributed to attendees.

The PDPU’s pre-election campaign seeks to engage voters and strengthen public understanding of its vision for social progress in Uzbekistan.
