Minsk, October 15, 2024 – The Europe Today: The National Center for Marketing has announced its organization of a collective exposition of Belarus at the upcoming International Trade Exhibition for Agriculture, Food, and Fisheries, Oman AgroFood 2024. The exhibition is set to take place from December 2 to 4 in Muscat, the capital of Oman, according to a report from the National Center for Marketing (NCM).
Oman AgroFood, supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources of Oman, is a prominent platform for promoting trade interests in the food and agriculture sectors. The annual event attracts key stakeholders in the industry, serving as a critical hub for trade development in Oman. In the 2023 edition, over 100 exhibitors from 15 countries participated, while visitor numbers exceeded 6,700, representing 29 countries.
Belarus’s participation is expected to enhance bilateral trade relations, with Omani authorities expressing their openness and readiness to strengthen ties, particularly in agricultural production and food processing.
The 2024 edition of Oman AgroFood will feature three main sections: Food Industry, covering a variety of products such as meat, dairy, bakery, and healthy foods; Agriculture, which will focus on machinery, fertilizers, irrigation, and livestock equipment; and Packaging, showcasing equipment and materials used in packaging solutions.
The National Center for Marketing will provide comprehensive support to Belarusian participants, including assistance with the design, construction, and decoration of the exposition stand, as well as addressing other organizational matters.
This event marks another significant step in expanding Belarus’s presence in the Omani market and fostering closer trade and economic ties between the two nations.
