Jakarta, October 20, 2024 – The Europe Today: President Prabowo Subianto officially announced the members of his cabinet, dubbed the “Red and White Cabinet,” following his inauguration as the country’s new president on Sunday, succeeding Joko Widodo. The announcement came during a presidential gala dinner at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta, attended by the designated ministers and deputy ministers.
“Per agreement between leaders of political parties in our coalition, we name this cabinet ‘Red and White Cabinet’,” Prabowo stated on Sunday evening, reinforcing the collaborative spirit among coalition partners.
Accompanied by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka and Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR) Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Prabowo revealed the list of key ministers, which includes prominent political figures and experienced professionals:
