Abu Dhabi, December 22, 2024 – The Europe Today: President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko held discussions with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan during his working visit to the United Arab Emirates, BelTA reported.
Lukashenko arrived in the UAE on December 18, where he first engaged in talks with UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi at the airport. During his visit, he emphasized the importance of strengthening Belarus-UAE relations and met with investors contributing to Belarus’ economy.
The following day, the focus shifted to cooperation in high technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, which has seen rapid global development in recent years. Lukashenko held discussions with UAE Minister of Investment Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, who is also the Managing Director of ADQ, a prominent investment fund.
Additionally, Lukashenko met with senior executives from companies specializing in advanced technologies, furthering Belarus’ ambitions to bolster collaboration in this field.
