Hanoi, December 25, 2024 – The Europe Today – Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính, attending the 80th National Public Security Conference in Hanoi on Thursday, lauded the People’s Public Security force for its unwavering commitment to serving the nation and people. The PM praised the force’s dedication, encapsulated in the spirit of “forgetting oneself for the country, well serving the people,” and its readiness to pioneer on every front under any circumstance.
The PM acknowledged the force’s remarkable achievements in ensuring national security, maintaining political stability, and supporting socio-economic development. On behalf of the Party and State, he expressed gratitude for the sacrifices and contributions of the officers and soldiers, emphasizing their critical role in the nation’s progress.
PM Chính outlined future tasks for the sector, urging innovation in security and order protection strategies, as guided by Party General Secretary Tô Lâm. He stressed the importance of integrating security with socio-economic development, strengthening collaboration with ministries, and leveraging the collective strength of the political system and the people.
Key priorities include combating corruption, economic crimes, high-tech offenses, and maintaining security in remote, border, and island areas. The PM also emphasized the sector’s role in promoting digital transformation, fostering international cooperation, and ensuring a secure and stable environment for national growth.
Minister of Public Security Lương Tam Quang highlighted the conference’s historical significance, underscoring the force’s growth and achievements. He noted that, under the Party and State’s guidance, the force successfully ensured security and political stability while serving the nation’s economic, cultural, and foreign policy goals.
This year, the People’s Public Security force submitted critical advisory reports and proposed amendments to laws and procedures, further solidifying its role in shaping national policies.
