Malaysian High Commissioner Signs Condolence Book Following Passing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei

Islamabad, March 4, 2026 – The Europe Today: The High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan, His Excellency Ambassador Dato’ Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, on Wednesday signed the Book of Condolence at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Islamabad following the passing of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei.

According to an official statement, the Malaysian envoy visited the Iranian embassy on March 4, 2026, to express solidarity with the Government and people of Iran during their period of national mourning.

Ambassador Azhar conveyed Malaysia’s deepest condolences and sympathies, acknowledging the profound loss and offering support to the Iranian nation in this difficult time.

He also paid tribute to the late Supreme Leader, recognising his significant role in shaping Iran’s political direction and regional posture over several decades.

Concluding his message, the High Commissioner offered sincere prayers for peace, strength and fortitude for the Government and people of Iran as they mourn the loss of their leader.
