Small Aircraft Crash in Puebla Claims Three Lives, Investigation Underway

Puebla, April 3, 2026 – The Europe Today: At least three people were killed and one seriously injured after a small aircraft crashed on Thursday in Huejotzingo, located in the central Mexican state of Puebla, according to local authorities.

The incident occurred shortly after the aircraft took off from Hermanos Serdán International Airport. According to the state’s Civil Protection agency, the plane went down within minutes of departure.

Eyewitnesses reported that the aircraft appeared to descend rapidly near a nearby highway before crashing into surrounding farmland. Emergency services responded promptly to the scene.

Authorities confirmed that three individuals lost their lives at the crash site, while a fourth person sustained serious injuries and was transported to a hospital for urgent medical treatment.

Preliminary reports from local media suggest that the aircraft may have been affiliated with an aviation training school. However, officials have not yet released the identities of the victims.
