Islamabad, January 22, 2024, The Europe Today: On 22nd January 2024, Mr. Obaid Ayub, Director House of Elaan and Mr. Khalid Taimoor Akram, Advisor House of Elaan and Executive Director PRCCSF, visited the Foundation University and met Dr. Hina Shahid, Head of Department of Arts and Media, Foundation University Islamabad along with other faculty members.
Detailed discussions were carried out for exchanging people-to-people connectivity with regional countries connected through CPEC. The Belt and Road Initiative is a game changer for Central-South Asia connectivity and Arts and Media can play a vital role for enhancement of connectivity.
Throughout the meeting, discussions centered on future collaborative initiatives, including the organization of joint events, conferences, and seminars to advance regional connectivity, particularly through initiatives like the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
An additional highlight was the delegation’s visit to the Arts & Media Department of Foundation University Islamabad. Dr. Hina Shahid provided insights into the department’s facilities and opportunities for students. The conversation also delved into potential collaborations between Elaan Research Centre and the Arts & Media Department of Foundation University, Islamabad. The meeting concluded with a commitment to further promote regional connectivity through collaborative endeavours.
