Islamabad, July 13, 2024, The Europe Today: On the 11th and 12th of July, in the heart of Pakistan, we embraced President Ilham Aliyev with profound pride, joy, and a deep sense of brotherhood. His arrival was not just a ceremony but a powerful symbol of victory and enlightenment, a testament to the unbreakable bond between our nations.
In a gesture of immense respect and honor, our tradition called for a grand welcome. As we lifted our fighters to meet President Aliyev’s plane, we echoed the respect once shown by Vucic in Europe. Yet, Pakistan went a step further, picking up six wickets to underscore our shared victories.
It was a rare and majestic event when the leader of our nation personally arrived at the airport to greet a visiting head of state. But when the leader of a nuclear state did so, it was unprecedented. This honor, coupled with the dispersal fire from our cannons, was an eastern tradition reserved for heroes returning home in triumph.
Ilham Aliyev is a victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief
Our streets gleamed with the Azerbaijani flag, and Islamabad’s roads were adorned with images of President Aliyev. But our tribute did not end there. The explosive fires from our cannons proclaimed: “Ilham Aliyev is a victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief, and Pakistan is his brother’s home!”
As he stepped onto our soil, Ilham Aliyev was not just a guest but a cherished brother, a WINNER coming home. This unparalleled gesture of Pakistan, a nuclear power, was more than a display of brotherhood. It was a declaration of unity and solidarity to the world, a testament to our shared commitment to territorial integrity, sovereignty, and ending occupation.
For almost a decade, I have been a strong advocate for promoting Pakistan-Azerbaijan relations through the Pakistan-Azerbaijan Alumni Association (PAAA). This platform, dedicated to fostering brotherhood among the youth of both countries, made me feel immense happiness witnessing the celebrations of the Supreme Leader in Pakistan, his second home. The joy was palpable, with the youth of Pakistan especially elated. Across social media, moments of this historic visit were shared in both countries, weaving a tapestry of unity and shared pride.
Together, we stood as a beacon of hope and strength in the new world order. Our brotherhood, now elevated to greater heights, shone as a powerful symbol of unity and mutual respect. Welcome home, Brother Ilham Aliyev!
