Minsk, December 10, 2024 – The Europe Today: The annual contest to determine Belarus’ best postage stamp of 2024 has officially commenced, as announced by the Belarusian Communications and Informatization Ministry. Citizens are invited to cast their votes online from December 9 to 23.
“This contest is a cherished tradition, allowing everyone to engage in selecting the most remarkable stamp of the year. We warmly welcome all to participate,” the ministry stated.
How to Participate
Voting takes place in a dedicated section on the official website of Belpochta, Belarus’ national postal service. Participants can select their favorite stamp sheet or miniature sheet from 2024’s collection.
The stamp that garners the most votes will be crowned the best of the year. If multiple stamps receive an equal number of votes, all of them will share the title.
Results Announcement
The results of the public vote will be unveiled on December 26 on Belpochta’s website, highlighting the nation’s most beloved postage designs of the year.
This annual event celebrates Belarus’ philatelic artistry and provides an opportunity for the public to connect with the country’s cultural and artistic achievements through stamps.
