Islamabad, December 13, 2024 – The Europe Today: Mr. Muhammad Ali Pasha, an esteemed international expert on Central and Southeast Asia, analyst, and a renowned poet, visited the Pakistan Academy of Letters on December 12, 2024. During his visit, he presented his poetry collection, Romantic Whispers of the Archipelago, a celebration of Indonesia’s rich culture and landscapes, to Dr. Najeeba Arif, Chairman of the Pakistan Academy of Letters, and Mr. Sultan Muhammad Nawaz Nasir, Director General of the Academy.
Dr. Najeeba Arif commended Mr. Pasha for his significant contributions to literature and his role in strengthening cultural ties between Pakistan and Indonesia. The meeting was also attended by Editor-in-Chief Ms. Fatima Tuz Zehra and renowned writer Malik Muhammad Shafiq.
Director General Mr. Sultan Muhammad Nawaz Nasir shared his reflections on a small archipelago near San Francisco and discussed its cultural parallels while emphasizing the importance of fostering literary and cultural connections between Pakistan and Indonesia. He lauded Mr. Pasha’s efforts in promoting cross-cultural understanding through poetry and dialogue.
