Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council Holds Second Security and Military Committee Meeting

Riyadh, December 26, 2024 – The Europe Today: Saudi Arabia’s Interior Minister, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, and Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense, Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, jointly chaired the second meeting of the Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council’s Security and Military Committee on Wednesday.

The meeting, held in Riyadh, focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest, with the aim of fulfilling the aspirations of the leaders and citizens of both nations, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

During the discussions, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud commended the efforts of both sides in advancing joint initiatives under the framework of the committee. The two officials emphasized the importance of continued collaboration to address regional and global security challenges effectively.

The Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council’s Security and Military Committee serves as a platform for enhancing strategic partnerships between the two Gulf nations, reaffirming their commitment to regional stability and mutual progress.
