Ankara, March 27, 2025 – The Europe Today: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has issued a strong warning against any attempts to undermine Türkiye’s economy or national stability, emphasizing that such actions would face strict legal consequences.
Speaking at a parliamentary group meeting of the governing Justice and Development (AK) Party, Erdogan reaffirmed his government’s commitment to safeguarding economic security and national welfare.
“All kinds of attempts to sabotage the Turkish economy, the welfare and peace of the nation will be held accountable before the judiciary,” he stated.
The president underscored that necessary legal measures would be enforced to maintain economic stability, reinforcing Türkiye’s determination to protect its financial and social well-being.
“We will continue to fight against any economic attack targeting Türkiye,” Erdogan declared.
His remarks come amid ongoing efforts by the Turkish government to bolster economic resilience and deter any potential disruptions to the nation’s financial stability.
