Samarkand, April 28, 2025 — The Europe Today: On April 29–30, the historic city of Samarkand will host an international conference dedicated to the 1155th anniversary of the birth of the great scholar and esteemed compatriot, Imam Abu Mansur Maturidi, widely recognized as the “Sultan of Theology” for his profound contributions to the development of Islamic sciences.
The conference, held under the theme “Maturidism – A Doctrine of Tolerance, Moderation, and Enlightenment,” is being meticulously prepared and is expected to bring together scholars, theologians, and experts from around the world.
