Antalya, April 19, 2026 – The Europe Today: Türkiye’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held wide-ranging discussions with global leaders on bilateral relations, regional crises, and international cooperation during the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, according to the country’s communications director Burhanettin Duran on Sunday.

In a statement shared on Türkiye-based social media platform NSosyal, Duran said President Erdoğan engaged in intensive diplomatic engagements on the sidelines of the forum, covering a broad spectrum of strategic issues.

“The meetings with leaders addressed a wide range of topics, from bilateral relations to trade, infrastructure, defense industry, energy, and strategic cooperation,” Duran noted.

He added that key regional and global developments were also discussed in detail, including the humanitarian situation in Gaza, ongoing Israeli military actions, and the ceasefire process involving Iran, the United States, and Israel.

“Our President delivered strong messages in both his speech and bilateral meetings in the name of global peace, regional stability, and international cooperation,” Duran said.

Highlighting the significance of the forum, Duran described Antalya as “the heart of diplomacy,” emphasizing Türkiye’s active and results-oriented role on the global stage.

“There is a Türkiye that not only speaks but also delivers results, demonstrating its national and independent stance on every platform. Under the leadership of our President, our country will continue to be the voice of global conscience, the key to peace, and a driving force behind its establishment,” he added.
