Islamabad, September 15, 2026 – The Europe Today: Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Pakistan Yusuf Sharifzoda held a meeting with newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Pakistan Irfan Shakiroglu Davudov to discuss bilateral relations and areas of mutual interest.
During the meeting, the two diplomats reviewed the current state of Tajikistan-Azerbaijan relations and exchanged views on prospects for further developing bilateral cooperation.
The discussions also focused on strengthening cooperation between the two countries’ embassies in Islamabad and enhancing coordination of their activities within the framework of their diplomatic presence in Pakistan.
Both sides expressed their readiness to maintain constructive engagement and exchange experiences with a view to further strengthening friendly relations and cooperation between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan.
The meeting underscored the importance of continued diplomatic coordination and collaboration between the two countries in advancing their shared interests.
