Dushanbe, October 8, 2026 – The Europe Today: Tajikistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin participated on October 7 in a meeting of the foreign ministers of the Central Asian states and Azerbaijan held in the Avaza National Tourist Zone of Turkmenistan.
According to the Tajik Foreign Ministry, the foreign ministers discussed measures to strengthen political relations and expand multifaceted cooperation among the participating countries.
The discussions covered a broad range of areas, including trade and economic cooperation, transport and infrastructure development, technology and communications, as well as cultural and humanitarian ties.
The foreign ministers also exchanged views on key issues on the international agenda.
During the meeting, the ministers agreed on the draft agenda and the final list of documents to be considered at the upcoming Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and Azerbaijan.
