Jakarta, November 7, 2024 – The Europe Today: Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto underscored the importance of responsibly utilizing the state budget for the direct benefit of the people during the 2024 National Coordination Meeting of the Central and Regional Governments, held at the Sentul International Convention Center in West Java on Thursday. He emphasized that as the entire state budget is funded by citizens, it must be used efficiently and transparently to serve public interests.
Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Bima Arya echoed this commitment, highlighting Prabowo’s focus on budget efficiency and cautioning against any misuse of state funds. Arya noted that the coordination meeting facilitated a direct engagement between the president and decision-makers from central and regional government levels.
Prabowo remarked on the strategic importance of the gathering, which brings together key policymakers to set priorities and align goals for Indonesia’s future development. “This is a strategic moment to set the direction for our nation’s next steps,” Prabowo said in his opening remarks, commending Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian for organizing the event attended by over 5,000 officials.
Held under the theme “The Implementation of Asta Cita towards Golden Indonesia 2045,” the meeting focuses on coordinating national and regional efforts to support Prabowo’s priority programs and long-term vision for Indonesia’s progress.
