Tashkent, January 11, 2025 – The Europe Today: At the invitation of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will undertake an official visit to the United Arab Emirates from January 13 to 16.
The visit’s program includes a series of high-level meetings and events in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, aimed at bolstering bilateral relations and exploring opportunities for enhanced cooperation.
In Abu Dhabi, President Mirziyoyev will engage in bilateral talks with President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and meet with key leaders from prominent government organizations, companies, and banks. He is also scheduled to participate in the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, an international platform promoting sustainable development initiatives.
In Dubai, President Mirziyoyev will hold discussions with the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The agenda will focus on deepening the friendship and multifaceted partnership between Uzbekistan and the UAE, with particular emphasis on strategic areas such as investment, green energy, infrastructure, digitalization, artificial intelligence, innovative development, and tourism. Cultural and humanitarian exchanges will also be a key focus.
Additionally, the two leaders will address pressing international and regional policy issues.
The visit is expected to culminate in the signing of a comprehensive package of agreements aimed at strengthening full-scale cooperation between Uzbekistan and the UAE.
