During his visit, Minister Lavrov is scheduled to hold meetings with President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov. The discussions are expected to encompass a wide range of topics, including the current state and future prospects of bilateral cooperation, key regional developments, and pressing international issues.

As part of the visit’s agenda, the foreign ministers of Russia and Turkmenistan are set to sign a cooperation program for the years 2025–2026, further solidifying the strategic partnership between the two countries.
