Prague, June 29, 2025 – The Europe Today: The 30th edition of the Mystic Sk8 Cup, one of Europe’s premier skateboarding competitions, has officially kicked off in the Czech capital, drawing global talent and fans to the newly renovated Štvanice skatepark and its vibrant surroundings.
Running through Sunday, the internationally recognized event blends high-level skateboarding with a lively lineup of concerts and cultural activities, offering an energetic festival atmosphere beyond the ramps.
Founded in 1994, the Mystic Sk8 Cup is part of the World Cup Skateboarding series and stands among the longest-running and most respected skateboarding events worldwide. This year’s edition welcomes around 200 riders from across the globe, including legendary athletes such as:
Andy MacDonald (USA), 23-time X Games medalist and the oldest skateboarder to compete in the Olympic Games,
Rune Glifberg (Denmark), a renowned professional skateboarder,
Omar Hassan (USA), a veteran of the Californian skate scene.
The competition will showcase a variety of skateboarding disciplines, drawing thousands of fans and reaffirming Prague’s place on the international skateboarding map.
