Prabowo

Jakarta, October 2, 2025 – The Europe Today: Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto conducted a presidential inspection aboard KRI dr. Radjiman Wedyodiningrat on Thursday, departing from the Military Sealift Command (Kolinlamil) headquarters in Jakarta. The voyage was held in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI).

The President embarked from the Kolinlamil dock at approximately 10:20 a.m., undertaking a two-hour journey across Jakarta Bay. The event featured an impressive naval parade showcasing Indonesia’s maritime capabilities, led by KRI Brawijaya-320, recognized as the largest warship in Southeast Asia, according to the Navy’s Information Service.

A total of 51 naval vessels participated in the parade, including six frigates, ten corvettes, two submarines, three landing ship tanks and landing platform docks, sixteen fast attack craft, two minehunters, six patrol boats, four auxiliary ships, and two naval cadet training vessels—KRI Dewaruci and KRI Bima Suci.

The Navy also highlighted its Special Forces and aviation units, featuring aircraft such as Bonanza, Piper, CN-235, Cassa NC-212, Bell-412 helicopters, Panther helicopters, and three unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Spectators were treated to live demonstrations, including naval gunfire, the RBU-6000 anti-submarine rocket launcher, and the Multi Launcher Rocket System RM-70 Grad mounted on KRI Teluk Amboina-503.

Additionally, ships from other agencies—including maritime enforcement authorities, search and rescue teams, and fishing associations—participated in the formation alongside the Navy’s fleet. Several ministers from the Merah Putih Cabinet accompanied the President during the inspection.

This marked President Prabowo’s second participation in a naval sailing pass. He previously joined a similar event on September 28, 2024, while serving as Defense Minister and president-elect.
