Tehran, November 13, 2025 – The Europe Today: Iran’s Ambassador to China, Abdolreza Rahmani-Fazli, held talks with Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Miao Deyu in Beijing on Thursday to discuss bilateral relations, regional developments, and preparations to commemorate the 55th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two nations.
During the meeting, Rahmani-Fazli highlighted recent developments in Iran and the broader region, emphasizing the strategic importance of Iran-China relations amid evolving international and regional dynamics. He underlined Tehran’s commitment to advancing cooperation with Beijing in line with the shared vision of both countries’ leaders.
The ambassador announced that special programs will be organized in both Iran and China next year to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, describing the milestone as “an opportunity to further advance Iran-China relations.”
Rahmani-Fazli also noted that the strategic dimension of Iran-China relations continues to grow, reaffirming Iran’s readiness to deepen cooperation across diverse fields, including economic, political, and cultural sectors.
For his part, Vice Foreign Minister Miao expressed China’s readiness to strengthen coordination with Iran, both bilaterally and within multilateral frameworks, with the aim of elevating the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries to a higher level.
