Arkadag, August 04, 2024, The Europe Today: Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, recently conducted a working visit to the city of Arkadag, where he reviewed various construction projects and provided critical oversight on their development.
During his visit, Berdimuhamedov familiarized himself with the plans for new production facilities set to be built in Arkadag. He also conducted an aerial inspection of the ongoing second phase of construction via helicopter, as reported by the Vatan news program.
Berdimuhamedov offered several comments on the proposed projects and implemented necessary adjustments. He stressed the importance of integrating the artistic elements of the carpet weaving enterprise harmoniously with the city’s architectural design, ecological standards, and the specific characteristics of building locations. The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty issued detailed instructions to project leaders to ensure these considerations are addressed.
The inspection also covered the construction progress from Ashgabat to Arkadag, focusing on the layout of buildings and the design of transport routes. Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need for adherence to environmental regulations during the development of the production complex and provided directives for the placement of associated facilities.
Additionally, the National Leader reviewed proposed sites for a medical cluster aimed at modernizing the healthcare system. This initiative is expected to enhance the national economy, create new employment opportunities, and bolster the social security of Arkadag’s residents. The development of this medical infrastructure is also anticipated to improve the city’s export potential.
