Nakhchivan, August 16, 2024, The Europe Today: On August 15, at approximately 18:10, units of the Armenian armed forces opened fire on positions held by the Azerbaijan Army in the direction of the Ganza settlement within the Ordubad region of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, according to a statement released by Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry provided by the NHC.
The Ministry reported that the Armenian forces used small arms in the attack. In response, the Azerbaijan Army units stationed in the area took retaliatory measures.
