Bishkek, December 17, 2024 – The Europe Today: His Excellency Dr. Jemal Bekar Abdula had the distinct honor of meeting H.E. Temirbek Erkinov, Deputy Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic for Foreign Affairs, in his office this afternoon.
During the meeting, copies of credentials were officially presented, followed by discussions on potential areas of cooperation aimed at enhancing bilateral relations between Ethiopia and Kyrgyzstan. Key sectors highlighted included trade, investment, aviation, health, education, and culture.
The significance of the Ankara Declaration, facilitated under the esteemed leadership of Türkiye, was also underscored. The declaration, aimed at fostering peace, stability, and sustainable development in the Horn of Africa, was recognized as a pivotal framework in promoting regional prosperity.
Both sides acknowledged that this landmark declaration would contribute to advancing the well-being and development of the region, strengthening the foundation for collaborative efforts.
