Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Visits Construction Site of International Pediatric Center

Ashgabat, March 5, 2025 – The Europe Today: The Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan conducted a working visit to the capital to review the progress of the International Pediatric Center’s construction. The new medical complex is expected to significantly enhance the country’s healthcare system, according to TDH reports.

Situated in the southern part of Ashgabat, the center is being built in line with international standards and will be equipped with cutting-edge global technologies. Designed to accommodate 160 patients, the facility will specialize in key medical fields, including neurology, endocrinology, orthopedics, allergology, and pediatric diseases.

The International Pediatric Center will feature high-tech diagnostic equipment, capable of delivering results within an hour. Advanced digital technologies and artificial intelligence will be integrated to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of medical services, thereby reducing diagnosis and treatment times.

During the visit, a working meeting was convened, attended by the Director General of the Directorate of International Medical Centers, the Director of the Intensive Care Department of the International Cardiology Center, a representative of the construction company, and the mayor of Ashgabat. Discussions centered on the next phase of the state program “Saglyk,” aimed at comprehensively improving Turkmenistan’s healthcare sector. The meeting focused on completing the construction, equipping the facility with modern medical technology, and ensuring the proper training of medical personnel.

Particular attention was given to the qualifications of medical professionals who will serve at the new institution. It was emphasized that these doctors have undergone specialized training in leading international clinics and are prepared to work with the latest medical technologies.

Hero-Arkadag highlighted the importance of creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for young patients. Special consideration is being given to the interior design, including color schemes and decorative elements, to foster a positive atmosphere for children receiving treatment.

The construction of the International Pediatric Center is an integral part of the “Saglyk” state program, which aims to strengthen the health of the younger generation, enhance the quality of medical services, and advance disease prevention efforts in Turkmenistan.
