Tehran, July 4, 2026 – The Europe Today: President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon attended the official funeral and farewell ceremony for former Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei in Tehran on Friday.
During the ceremony, President Rahmon conveyed his profound condolences to the leadership and the friendly people of Iran, as well as to the late leader’s family and relatives.
The Tajik President expressed solidarity with Iran during the mourning period, reaffirming the close and longstanding ties between the two countries.
The ceremony was attended by senior Iranian officials and foreign dignitaries who gathered to pay tribute to the late Supreme Leader and express sympathy with the Iranian nation.
