Ras Al Khaimah, December 14, 2024 – The Europe Today: Air Arabia has announced the launch of its latest route connecting Ras Al Khaimah International Airport to Islam Karimov Tashkent International Airport in Uzbekistan. The new direct flight service will operate weekly on Fridays, commencing on December 27, 2024.
The airline also revealed the addition of a new aircraft to its fleet in Ras Al Khaimah, enhancing its operational capacity and commitment to expanding its regional network.
Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, expressed his enthusiasm for the launch, stating, “We are glad to announce the launch of direct flights to Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, further expanding our growing network from Ras Al Khaimah. This new route reflects our commitment to developing our tourism offering from Ras Al Khaimah and continuously offering our passengers reliable and affordable air travel options.”
This new route follows the recent introduction of direct flights to Moscow, demonstrating Air Arabia’s ongoing dedication to connecting travellers from Ras Al Khaimah to a broader range of destinations.
With the addition of the Tashkent route, Air Arabia now operates flights from Ras Al Khaimah to eight destinations, including Cairo, Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Jeddah, Calicut, and Moscow. The carrier also offers non-stop services to Tashkent from Sharjah and Abu Dhabi, reinforcing its role as a leading low-cost airline in the region.
The introduction of this route is expected to strengthen the ties between the UAE and Uzbekistan while contributing to the growth of tourism and trade between the two regions.
