Kazakh Ambassador Madiyar Menilbekov Meets Saudi Minister of Interior

Riyadh, December 31, 2024 – The Europe Today: Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Madiyar Menilbekov, held a meeting with the Minister of Interior of Saudi Arabia, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef Al Saud, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan. The discussions centered around key areas of cooperation in law enforcement and the potential for further strengthening ties between the two nations.

Ambassador Menilbekov provided insights into the ongoing reforms in Kazakhstan, which focus on enhancing public safety, protecting citizens’ rights, and recovering state property and assets. He highlighted the government’s efforts to improve law enforcement measures and ensure the security of its citizens.

Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud emphasized the positive trajectory of Kazakh-Saudi relations, expressing the Kingdom’s willingness to deepen cooperation by assessing existing capabilities and developing actionable proposals for joint initiatives.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to strengthen bilateral ties in accordance with the agreements between the two countries on the extradition and transfer of convicted persons, a step aimed at further enhancing cooperation in legal and law enforcement matters.

This meeting follows a recent discussion between Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in early December, which highlighted the shared commitment to advancing cooperation between the two nations.
