Baku, June 9, 2025 — The Europe Today: On the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder of the IDEA (International Dialogue for Environmental Action) Public Union, charitable assistance is being extended to low-income families across the country in celebration of Eid al-Adha.
According to IDEA, the most recent phase of the campaign took place in the Nizami district of Baku, where 100 low-income families received food packages, including portions of sacrificial meat, as part of the Eid festivities.
This initiative forms part of the “Our Kitchen” social project, which aims to strengthen social solidarity by providing hot meals and food aid to underprivileged families and individuals. Since its inception, the project’s volunteers have delivered warm meals and essential food support to hundreds of thousands of people across Baku and neighboring regions, offering compassion and hope to those in need.
The campaign underscores the ongoing commitment of IDEA and its partners to promoting community welfare and social cohesion through acts of generosity and support.
