Saida Mirziyoyeva Awards Top Graduates, Announces School Buses for Remote Areas

Samarkand, June 21, 2025 – The Europe Today: As part of her working visit to Samarkand, Assistant to the President of Uzbekistan Saida Mirziyoyeva visited Secondary School No. 71, renowned for its academic excellence and the remarkable achievements of its students.

The school has a strong reputation for educational success, with many students winning medals in various competitions. Notably, all graduates from the previous academic year were successfully admitted to higher education institutions, including prestigious international universities.

During the visit, Saida Mirziyoyeva personally presented gold medals to the highest-achieving graduates of School No. 71 and several other schools across Samarkand. “It was a great pleasure for me to present gold medals to the top-performing graduates of this school and other schools in Samarkand,” she stated.

In line with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s directives to enhance educational access and infrastructure, Saida Mirziyoyeva announced the allocation of 17 new school buses for the Kushrabot district of the Samarkand region. These buses are expected to benefit over 750 students attending 20 remote schools across the district.

“It is essential to us that every child, regardless of where they live, has equal access to quality, comfortable, and modern education. We are doing everything possible to make this a reality,” she emphasized.

The visit reflects the Uzbek government’s ongoing commitment to expanding access to quality education, particularly in rural and underserved communities.
