Minsk, August 20, 2025 – The Europe Today: President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian on Tuesday evening visited the iconic Victory Square in Minsk to honor Belarusian soldiers who lost their lives during World War II.
At the memorial site, where an eternal flame has burned since 1954 in remembrance of the fallen, President Pezeshkian laid tribute and paid his respects.
The visit formed part of his official program in Belarus following his arrival in the country earlier in the day.
