At the outset, President Trump praised and expressed support for the ongoing irreversible reforms in “New Uzbekistan,” aimed at modernizing the national economy and enhancing the welfare of the population.

In turn, President Mirziyoyev extended his congratulations to President Trump on the notable results achieved by the U.S. administration in both domestic and foreign policy. He also highlighted Washington’s contribution and efforts in promoting peaceful settlement of international and regional conflicts, as well as in ensuring global security and stability.

They agreed on the need to further boost cooperation in priority sectors, including civil aviation, critical mineral resources, the electrical engineering industry, energy, agriculture, digital technologies, finance, innovation, and education. It was emphasized that a series of meetings with leading American companies and organizations are scheduled this month to establish long-term, sustainable partnerships.

In addition to economic cooperation, practical collaboration in the security sphere was discussed, particularly in countering terrorism, extremism, and illegal migration. Cultural and humanitarian exchanges were also noted, with branches of leading U.S. universities successfully operating in Tashkent.

President Trump conveyed his best wishes to the Uzbekistan National Team, which will take part for the first time in the World Cup to be hosted by the United States next year.

The leaders also exchanged views on pressing international and regional matters, including deepening cooperation between Central Asian states and the U.S. within the “C5+1” framework.

President Mirziyoyev extended an invitation to President Trump to pay an official visit to Uzbekistan at a convenient time. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining close, high-level dialogue to advance joint projects and practical cooperation initiatives.
