National Aviation Academy, ASAN Khidmet Sign Cooperation Memorandum to Boost Innovation and Start-Ups

BakuNovember 20, 2025 – The Europe Today: A memorandum of cooperation has been signed between the National Aviation Academy and the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, marking a new phase of collaboration aimed at fostering innovation and enhancing academic–institutional partnership.

The agreement was signed by Arif Pashayev, Rector of the National Aviation Academy and academician, and Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations.

The memorandum envisions the development of an innovation-oriented ecosystem for students and the promotion of start-up initiatives, alongside the joint implementation of research and training projects. Under the cooperation framework, students will gain access to a range of training, mentoring, and development programs aligned with the activities of the Agency’s subordinate structures.

The partnership will also provide students with opportunities in the fields of artificial intelligence, start-up creation, and participation in pilot projects. Additionally, academic staff of the National Aviation Academy will be engaged in collaborative research projects, further strengthening scientific and technological development within the institution.

The agreement is expected to contribute significantly to nurturing a new generation of innovators and enhancing cooperation between academic and public sector institutions in Azerbaijan.
