Manama, December 31, 2023, The Europe Today: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, today received the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Kingdom of Bahrain, HE Riham Abdelhamid Mahmoud Khalil, at Riffa Palace.
His Royal Highness emphasised the importance of the longstanding strategic partnership between Bahrain and Egypt under the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the President of Egypt, His Excellency Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, to achieve mutual goals.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister welcomed HE Khalil to the Kingdom and wished her success in performing her diplomatic duties.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted the strength of bilateral collaboration across various sectors, noting the importance of bolstering cooperation to benefit both countries and their people.
During the meeting, regional and global developments and issues of common interest were discussed.
For her part, Ambassador HE Khalil expressed her gratitude for His Royal Highness’s commitment to furthering Bahraini-Egyptian relations and wished the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), and the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, also attended the meeting.
