Moscow, August 08, 2024, The Europe Today: Children from Turkmenistan are set to participate in the 3rd International Children’s Cultural Forum, scheduled to take place from August 22 to 24 at the newly restored Moscow Palace of Pioneers.
According to TASS, Russian Culture Minister Olga Lyubimova announced at a press conference that over 2,000 participants will attend the forum. “The International Children’s Cultural Forum will commence on August 22 at the Moscow Palace of Pioneers on Vorobyovy Gory, which will reopen on that day following restoration and reconstruction. This year, more than 2,000 children from all 89 regions of the Russian Federation will join us, along with international guests. Currently, we have 15 delegations confirmed,” Lyubimova stated.
The forum will host children from various countries, including India, Egypt, Serbia, Belarus, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, China, Brazil, Transnistria, Syria, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Jordan, and Libya. Teenagers aged 12 to 17 are eligible to participate in the event, which will feature approximately 60 activities throughout its duration.
The participation of children from Turkmenistan underscores the forum’s aim to foster cultural exchange and understanding among young people from diverse backgrounds.
