Islamabad, November 25, 2024 – The Europe Today: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov on Monday to reaffirm their commitment to strengthening bilateral ties and fostering mutually beneficial cooperation.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed a range of bilateral and regional matters, including the agenda and program for Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko’s visit to Pakistan, set to commence later in the day.
Both sides expressed satisfaction with the ongoing momentum of high-level exchanges and bilateral cooperation. They voiced optimism that President Lukashenko’s visit would serve as a catalyst for enhancing Pakistan-Belarus relations across diverse sectors.
In addition to bilateral discussions, the ministers exchanged views on key regional and global developments, particularly the crisis in the Middle East. They underscored the need for peaceful conflict resolution and emphasized a coordinated international approach to address the pressing humanitarian situation in Gaza.
The two sides also highlighted the importance of enhanced collaboration within international and regional organizations to advance shared interests and tackle global challenges effectively.
The meeting reflected the commitment of both Pakistan and Belarus to deepening their partnership, fostering diplomatic dialogue, and working together to address common issues on the global stage.
