Berlin, September 23, 2026 — The Europe Today: A delegation from the Ministry of Railway Transport of Turkmenistan is participating in InnoTrans 2026 in Berlin, holding working meetings with representatives of leading international railway and transport technology companies.
The Turkmen delegation includes Deputy Minister of Railway Transport Silapberdi Nurberdiyev, Demiryollary OJSC Director General Keymir Bayramov, Head of the Road Management Department Abdylla Cholukov and Head of the Communications Department Allannur Mammedov.
Since the opening of the international transport technology exhibition, the delegation has held meetings with representatives of Germany’s Techne Kirow GmbH and INFRA LLC, China’s CRRC Nanjing Puzhen Co. Ltd., France’s Alstom, Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. and Switzerland’s Schwihag AG.
The September 23 program includes discussions with Vossloh AG, ArcelorMittal and System7 Railtechnology GmbH, as well as meetings with representatives of the UK Department for Transport, the Railway Industry Association (RIA) and Pandrol. Further meetings with voestalpine Railway Systems GmbH, SRT Srl, ARBZ and Kzeso LLC are scheduled for September 24.
The discussions are focused on railway rolling stock, equipment and infrastructure solutions, as well as the application of digital technologies in railway transportation.
InnoTrans 2026 has reached a record scale in the exhibition’s 30-year history, bringing together 3,170 exhibitors from 59 countries across approximately 200,000 square meters of exhibition space. The event features 180 world premieres covering developments in rolling stock, infrastructure and transport technologies.
Major themes at this year’s exhibition include hydrogen-powered transportation, automation, artificial intelligence and robotics. The outdoor track display, extending approximately 3.5 kilometers, features 113 railway vehicles from 17 countries.
Around 700 companies are taking part in InnoTrans for the first time, highlighting the growing international participation in the global transport technology industry.
