Tashkent, November 1, 2024 – The Europe Today: Chairperson Gayane Umerova of the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation led a delegation to meet with the Ambassador of Türkiye to Uzbekistan, Olgan Bekar, to discuss cultural collaboration between the two nations.
The discussions focused on the success of joint cultural projects and the exchange of expertise among Uzbek and Turkish specialists. Plans to expand cultural exchange initiatives, including exhibitions and Cultural Days scheduled for 2025, were highlighted as a means to further strengthen the ties between Uzbekistan and Türkiye.
Another significant topic was the reconstruction of the Jadid Heritage Museum in Bukhara. This project will serve as a crucial step in preserving Uzbekistan’s rich cultural heritage. The meeting marked a promising development in cultural relations and cooperation between the two countries.
