Washington, D.C., , December 15, 2024 – The Europe Today: President-elect Donald Trump announced his intent to nominate Bill White as the U.S. ambassador to Belgium, selecting a prominent political fundraiser and staunch supporter of his “America First” agenda. White, who has contributed millions to Trump’s campaigns, has also been a key advocate within Republican circles in Georgia, where his influence has stirred both support and contention.
In a statement released on Saturday, Trump praised White as a “highly respected businessman, philanthropist, author, and advocate,” highlighting his efforts in supporting military and veteran causes. Notably, White played a pivotal role in championing the USS Intrepid, a World War II-era aircraft carrier now serving as a floating military museum.
