New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon to Visit Vietnam

Hanoi, February 21, 2025 – The Europe Today: Prime Minister of New Zealand Christopher Luxon will undertake an official visit to Vietnam from February 25 to 28 and participate in the second ASEAN Future Forum 2025.

The visit is being made at the invitation of Vietnamese Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam announced.

During his visit, Prime Minister Luxon is expected to hold high-level discussions with Vietnamese leaders to strengthen the Vietnam-New Zealand strategic partnership. Key topics on the agenda will include trade and investment cooperation, regional security, education, and sustainable development.

As part of his trip, Luxon will also attend the ASEAN Future Forum 2025, an important regional platform aimed at fostering dialogue on the future of ASEAN’s development, digital transformation, and green growth. His participation underscores New Zealand’s commitment to deepening engagement with ASEAN and contributing to the region’s long-term stability and prosperity.
