Welcoming his Bulgarian counterpart, President Tokayev described Bulgaria as “one of the key partners of Kazakhstan in Europe,” emphasizing the depth of political and economic ties. “Our bilateral cooperation has been stable across various fields, reflected in a trust-based political dialogue, effective interparliamentary interaction, dynamic growth in trade and investment, strong people-to-people ties, and mutual support on the international stage,” he stated.
President Tokayev highlighted the robust growth in two-way trade and noted that over 60 companies with Bulgarian participation are currently operating in Kazakhstan. He also underscored existing cooperation in sectors such as mining, manufacturing, transport, and construction.
