Dushanbe, October 10, 2025 – The Europe Today: President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held a one-on-one meeting with President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on October 10 in Dushanbe.
During the meeting, the two leaders warmly recalled their previous encounters held in Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, and on the sidelines of various international events, noting that regular high-level exchanges have played a significant role in advancing cooperation across multiple sectors.
The Presidents emphasized that the meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State in Dushanbe offered an excellent platform to discuss current regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Both leaders expressed satisfaction with the successful development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan and exchanged views on further enhancing cooperation in political, economic, and cultural fields.
