Turkmenistan and Georgia Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation and Trade Ties

Ashgabat, January 29, 2026 – The Europe Today: A meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs between Turkmenistan’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Myahri Byashimova, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Turkmenistan, Konstantin Sabiashvili.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on key issues of bilateral cooperation and reaffirmed the high level of political and diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Georgia.

Discussions focused on expanding trade and economic ties, with both parties emphasizing their shared interest in intensifying mutually beneficial cooperation in priority sectors.

The meeting also addressed prospects for enhancing inter-parliamentary cooperation, further strengthening the framework of bilateral relations between the two countries.
