London, June 25, 2026 – The Europe Today: Romeo Beckham, the 23-year-old son of former football star David Beckham and fashion designer Victoria Beckham, is set to make his acting debut in the upcoming romantic sports drama Forty Love, marking a significant new chapter in his career.
The film, directed by acclaimed fashion photographer Pierre-Ange Carlotti in his feature directorial debut, is set against the backdrop of the professional tennis world and explores themes of rivalry, ambition, self-discovery and love.
Beckham will star alongside French actors Paul Kircher, Guillaume Canet and Benjamin Voisin, while veteran actress Catherine Deneuve is also set to appear in the production. The story follows tennis prodigy Sacha Gallo, whose pursuit of success in Paris is disrupted by the arrival of a charismatic rival portrayed by Beckham. Their growing rivalry eventually develops into a deeper emotional connection.
Produced by Chi-Fou-Mi Productions and co-produced by Studiocanal and Manna Studios, Forty Love is currently in post-production and is scheduled for release in French cinemas on November 25, 2026.
