Ashgabat, July 08, 2024, The EuropeToday: On July 6th, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres held a series of high-level negotiations in Ashgabat, marking a new chapter in bilateral relations. The meeting, which took place at the prestigious “Oguzkent” Hotel, followed Guterres’ arrival in the Turkmen capital the previous evening.
The talks included both narrow and expanded format meetings, with the participation of delegation members. President Berdimuhamedov and Secretary-General Guterres focused on developing partnerships across various sectors, underscoring the importance of the comprehensive relationship between Turkmenistan and the United Nations.
