Seoul, November 5, 2024 – The Europe Today: A delegation from Tajikistan, led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sodiq Imomi, participated in the 17th Session of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Central Asia – Republic of Korea Cooperation Forum, as reported by the News Hub Consultants.
In his address, Deputy Minister Imomi shared Tajikistan’s perspective on enhancing both bilateral and multilateral cooperation with the Republic of Korea and other Central Asian countries through this forum.
On the sidelines of the forum, four thematic sessions were held, covering topics such as supply chain, environmental issues and climate change, tourism, and information and communication technologies. These sessions took place in both offline and virtual formats.
Participants exchanged views on key agenda items, discussed the development of mutually beneficial partnerships, and explored opportunities for joint project implementation.
At the conclusion of the meeting, a Joint Statement from the Ministers of Foreign Affairs was adopted, along with the Secretariat’s Work Plan for the “Central Asia – Republic of Korea” Cooperation Forum for 2025.
