Valletta, December 6, 2024 – The Europe Today: As part of his working visit to Valetta, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov participated in the 3rd European Conference on Azerbaijani Studies, where he delivered a comprehensive speech addressing key regional and global issues.
Minister Bayramov’s speech highlighted Azerbaijan’s efforts and initiatives in several crucial areas, including the outcomes of the COP29 climate conference, energy security, and the country’s strategic projects in green energy. The Minister also emphasized Azerbaijan’s role in strengthening transport and communication networks, particularly within the framework of the Middle Corridor.
According to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, the discussions also covered Azerbaijan’s post-conflict recovery efforts, regional security, and the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia. The Minister addressed questions from think-tanks and academics, providing insights into the ongoing reconstruction of Azerbaijan’s liberated territories and the challenges posed by landmines.
Following the event, Minister Bayramov shared his thoughts on social media, stating, “Today I attended and addressed the 3rd European Conference on Azerbaijani Studies in the margins of my working visit to Valletta, Malta. I spoke and answered questions about the COP29 climate conference in Azerbaijan, strategic partnerships and projects in the field of green energy, and initiatives to strengthen cooperation in transport and communications along the Middle Corridor.” He further added, “I also informed the audience about post-conflict regional realities, the reconstruction of liberated territories, the landmine threat, and the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace process.”
The event was an important platform for reinforcing Azerbaijan’s international partnerships and highlighting its pivotal role in regional stability and global climate action.
