Bangkok, August 11, 2025 – The Europe Today: Kazakh boxer Gulnaz Buribayeva secured the gold medal in the women’s 48 kg category at the ongoing Asian Boxing U19 & U22 Championships held in Thailand, according to Olympic.kz.
In the final bout, Buribayeva emerged victorious over Uzbekistan’s Robiyakhn Bakhtierova, showcasing outstanding skill and determination.
Earlier in the tournament, Kuralay Yeginbaikyzy also clinched a gold medal in the women’s 80 kg finals, further highlighting Kazakhstan’s strong performance at the championships. Additionally, Akbota Yessimbekova earned a bronze medal, adding to the country’s medal tally.
Kazakhstan’s boxing team continues to demonstrate promising talent and competitiveness in the Asian youth boxing scene.
